Forest Survey of India (FSI), Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India; PO-KDMIPE, Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun-248195, has notified the recruitment of twenty-five ‘Technical Associate’ in Forest Survey of India, Dehradun.
The engagement will be on contract basis initially for a period of 1 year, which may be extended further based on requirement. Remuneration will be Rs. 37,000/- + HRA, as applicable.
Eligibility: Applicant should possess eligibility given under either A or B
A: Post Graduate degree in any Science subject or MCA or M.Sc. in IT/Computer Science or B. Tech. in IT/Computer Science/ Civil Engg. from a recognized university/institution. Applicant should have studied Mathematics and Physics as subjects at Intermediate level and should have Diploma or Certificate Course in Remote Sensing/ GIS from a recognized University/ Institution
B: M.Sc./ M. Tech. in Remote Sensing and GIS and should have studied Mathematics and Physics as subjects at Intermediate level

The upper age limit will be 30 years as on 20th November, 2023. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PVVD applicants will be as per government guidelines.

Selection: In case higher number of applications are received, only shortlisted candidates based on the qualification and experience will be called for the selection process comprising written test, hands-on test and interview at Forest Survey of India, Dehradun. The date & time of the selection process will be informed through email and SMS. Short- listing will be done on the basis of fulfilling prescribed qualifications, experience and age limit criteria.
Candidates may have to make suitable arrangements for stay on their own as the selection process may take more than one day. Candidates called for the selection process are required to bring their mark sheets and experience certificates in original. They should also bring a copy of the filled up form in prescribed format (pdf can be downloaded from the FSI), while appearing for the selection process.
